iSchool of Music & Art

iSchool of Music & Art offers private music lessons, the Young Artist Program, NYSSMA Preparation, iBand and Gig Academy, Fortune Star Band, Music Explorer, New Musician Evaluation, and Visual Arts Classes & Workshops. Music Explorer is a group class for ages 5-7 that covers rhythm, pitch, and written music. Visual Arts Classes & Workshops are offered on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Programs

• Private Music Lessons — Personalized lessons for students learning music or improving skills.
• Young Artist Program — A program tailored for more dedicated musicians pursuing a career in music.
• NYSSMA Preparation — Preparation through private lessons, master classes, coaching on scales, sight reading, solo performance, and mock auditions.
• iBand and Gig Academy — Band programs for students grouped by age, musical interests, and skill level; includes summer and school-year vacation week camps.
• Fortune Star Band — Saturday nights · Volunteer symphonic rock ensemble presented with UCODA.
• Music Explorer — Ages 5-7 · Group class for children to experience music and learn basics of rhythm, pitch, and written music.
• New Musician Evaluation — Evaluation that matches a student with an instrument and lessons.
• Visual Arts Classes & Workshops — Thursdays and Saturdays · Art is currently offered on Thursdays and Saturdays.

iSchool of Music & Art is a NYSSMA member since 2005 and the only Associate Board of the Royals School of Music (ABRSM) center in Long Island, New York. Fortune Star Band is described as a volunteer symphonic rock ensemble presented with UCODA and created to serve and uplift the community through the power of music.
