Youth Development Programs (Girls Inc. at YWCA & YWCA Youth Soccer) include Girls Inc. at YWCA and YWCA Youth Soccer. Participants take part in YWCA Youth Soccer programs, which include both non-competitive and competitive options, and in physical activities that are part of the Girls Inc. at YWCA curriculum. YWCA Youth Soccer programs are open to both girls and boys, and the majority of soccer participants are male.

The YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County, Inc. supports youth ages 5–18 through Girls Inc. at YWCA and YWCA Youth Soccer as youth leadership and development programs that support youth at home, school, and in the community. Girls Inc. at YWCA provides research-based, informal education programs for girls ages 5–18. The YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County, Inc. does not have fitness programs, but it does offer YWCA Youth Soccer programs and includes physical activities in the Girls Inc. at YWCA curriculum.

The YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County, Inc. was founded in 1885 as a member of the national YWCA, and the local association was founded in 1892. Its mission is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The organization provides direct services, empowerment programming, and advocacy to support marginalized individuals and families, especially women and girls of color, and works to challenge structural barriers to equity in the city of Syracuse and Onondaga County. The leadership team includes Fanny Villarreal, Executive Director & CEO; Wenona Timmons, Deputy Executive Director; and Caitlyn Copfer, Chief Development Officer.
