Family YMCA at Tarrytown Youth Programs offers Y Dance and cheer programs for children and youth. The programs also include At-Home Workouts and Virtual Classes through its fitness programming.

Since its inception in 1903, The Family YMCA at Tarrytown has been serving the community. The Family YMCA at Tarrytown is a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, and its programs and services are open to all regardless of the ability to pay. The Family YMCA at Tarrytown welcomes everyone, and the Y’s financial assistance program is 100% funded by donations. School-age programs are available to TUFSD students, and Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District students receive care at Todd Elementary School. The program offers a school-age SACC program at Morse Elementary School and pre-school and kindergarten after-school care at John Paulding. Fitness programming continues on the Virtual Y Platform, with planned evening and weekend classes in 2024 at the new site at Tarrytown Station Center. The organization holds an annual Y Healthy Kids Day and Rotary Rubber Duck Derby event, which in 2024 is the 18th annual event. The leadership team includes Melissa Weaver, Senior Director of Operations; Lesa Dalton, Associate Executive Director and Senior Director of Administration; Mary Saad, Childcare Director; Diane McCarthy, School Age Director; and Cindy Guzman, Y Dance Director. The mission statement of The Family YMCA at Tarrytown describes it as a non-profit, mission-driven, inclusive organization of people joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of youth, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
