Munson Community Art Classes

Munson Community Art Classes include Summer Community Art Classes and a Community Arts Student Exhibition Opening Reception. The program takes place at Munson and focuses on connecting people with the arts to enrich lives, encourage creativity, and enhance cultural understanding. Munson Community Art Classes are part of a community-centered organization that fosters a sense of belonging for everyone to participate.

Munson’s mission is to create transformational arts experiences that cultivate curiosity and creativity which enlighten, educate, and inspire. Munson’s programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Munson staff and faculty serve the public in a welcoming, inclusive, and exemplary manner through authentic arts-based experiences in museum galleries, education, the performing arts, and collaborations. Munson continues to serve as the cultural heart of Utica while reaching audiences beyond the immediate area and assuming a leadership role in the arts.
