About
Bettinelli’s Community Boxing Academy (BCBA) offers Olympic Style Amateur Boxing, JUDO, Muay Thai, boxing classes, personal boxing training, personal training, and fitness classes. The program is also home of the “Get Fit Not Hit” circuit workout and the D.R.I.F.T. Youth Boxing Program, and includes Boxing, Martial Arts, and Self Defense activities. BCBA provides gym membership for kids 9 thru 17.

Since 2004, Bettinelli’s Community Boxing Academy has been serving the greater Long Island, NY community as a privately funded community training center. BCBA has a certified staff of boxing coaches, martial arts instructors and mentors, led by Head Boxing Coach and Director, Ray Bettinelli. BCBA is the area’s largest boxing facility and is an ALL VOLUNTEER nonprofit organization (Community Boxing Center Inc.) devoted to providing quality sport and fitness programs to youth, Veterans and residents in the community in which it operates. Its Youth Empowerment programs are intended to help at risk kids 9 thru 17, and its Boxing, Martial Arts and Self Defense programs are all intended to add structure, discipline and build positive self-esteem. The mission at BCBA is to serve the community with a facility that is safe, clean and provides a positive environment where young people, Veterans and residents can train, feel a sense of belonging while developing the self-reliant skills they will need to become “Champions in Life.” BCBA is committed to working in partnership with the community in a courteous and respectful manner and in harmony with the lives, property and quality of life of others, and it makes space available to fellow non profits, community leaders and other outreach programs whose objectives are designed to educate, motivate or inspire. BCBA hopes to become a model on how bringing together both the Profit Sector and Non Profit Sector can not only benefit each other but also positively impact the very communities they do business in.
