Gerald J. Ryan Summer Camp runs for five weeks during late June and July, with campers taking part in camp activities Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The camp enrolls more than 100 children in grades 1 through 6 each summer.

The Gerald J. Ryan Summer Camp has served the community for over thirty years. Its mission statement says that its dedicated staff, volunteers, and donors believe they must follow God’s call to meet the needs of others, one individual at a time. The camp is part of the Gerald J. Ryan Outreach Center, a not-for-profit organization serving Wyandanch and surrounding communities. The Outreach Center’s food pantry provides emergency food assistance in the area and is one of the largest of its kind on Long Island, assisting an average of 15,000 men, women, and children each year.
