Akron ArtWorks Camps offer weekly themed art camps where kids take part in activities such as Nature and Animals Summer Art Camp, Art from Around the World Summer camp, Creativity and Upcycling Summer camp, Painting Extravaganza Summer camp, Mixed media/Printmaking, Watercolor Summer camp, Pop Art Extravaganza: Comics, Color and Creativity camp, and Drawing Extravaganza Summer camp. The program also offers group art instruction classes that meet once a week, weekend workshops, private studio times, art instruction classes, wellness workshops, and access to a dedicated splatter room where participants create splatter art pieces, including Family splatter sessions.

Dr. Karin Coifman is a Clinical Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and has worked as a therapist with children and families for the last seventeen years. Micah Beree is an Artist and Art Educator with an M.A. in Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.F.A. from the University of Denver.
Akron ArtWorks states that it aims to provide expert art instruction and therapeutic activities to children and adults in the Akron, OH area and offers in-person art activities for children and adults, including art instruction classes, wellness workshops, and Family splatter. The program notes that all materials are provided for students and that it is not necessary for parents to stay, stating that it is best for the student to be focused on their art and expressing themselves rather than dividing attention between art and parents.
