Martell School of Dance

Martell School of Dance offers annual dance classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Clogging, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and Tap Dance. The program also includes Move With Me, Adult Classes, Princess Day Camp, Princess Dance Camp, Acro-Dance Camp, Rubber Ducks Performance Camp, Jumps, Leaps, Turns!, Preschool to 4th Grade – Summer Dance, 5th–12th Grade – Summer Dance, Acro workshops, summer classes, and master classes with outside dance educators.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and office hours are available Monday–Thursday in the late afternoon and evening, and Saturday mornings

Martell School of Dance operates as a historic dance studio and includes Martell Tu, which serves preschool through adult participants. The studio offers a Parent Portal Login, Staff Login, a Calendar of Events, a downloadable handbook, new family studio tours and registration dates, and rolling enrollment. The program’s mission statement is, “It’s more than a dance education, it’s a great place to grow up!” Director Rachel Huffman leads the program, and staff credentials include an Akron Children’s Athletic Trainer. Martell School of Dance is an ArtSparks Community Partner and has been voted #1 Dance Studio by Akron Life Magazine readers in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019, and 2nd place in 2017 and 2020.
