Summer Enrichment Day Camp

Akron Urban League Youth Programs offers new programs for youth that include Fishing, Chess, and Teen Night. The programs are part of a broader set of youth-focused services that also include the Education Achievement Center, Restorative Services Center, Entrepreneurship & Business Support, and the Workforce Success Center.

The Education Achievement Center focuses on academic enrichment, creative expression, leadership development, and essential life skills for young people. The Restorative Services Center includes emotional intelligence training, workforce development, and expungement and other barrier removals. Entrepreneurship & Business Support includes coaching, training, certification support, and connections. The Workforce Success Center includes job placement, resume writing, and professional skill training. The Akron Urban League’s stated mission is to provide economic, educational, and social assistance to Summit County residents, and it works through local, state, federal, and private partnerships to bring programs to Summit County. The organization highlights its centennial through “A True Celebration of 100 Years: Akron Urban League Centennial Gala” and notes participation in “Urban League Joins Akron in Celebrating 2025 All-America City Award.”
