Aurora Children's Early Learning Center

Aurora Children’s Early Learning Center includes activities such as arts and crafts projects, nature explorations, singing and dancing, story time, and school-readiness activities. Children may also take part in library visits, swim lessons, visits to local farms, sports activities, cooking lessons, science investigations, daily field trips, swimming excursions, nature hikes, sports, and games. School-age children have access to homework help and other age-appropriate pastimes.

• Ages: 6 weeks–fifth grade; before and after-school program for kindergarten–fifth grade; summer camp for multiple age groups
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–6:00 pm; closed Saturday, Sunday, and certain holidays

Aurora Children’s Early Learning Center has developmentally appropriate classrooms and a large backyard playground that is separated by classes for age-appropriate play. The curriculum for school-age children correlates with their schools’ academic standards, and Pre-K students are exposed to readiness skills through specific activities such as arts and crafts, nature explorations, singing and dancing, and story time. Field trip destinations during the school year include Patterson Farms, the Cleveland Zoo, and Moebius Nature Center. Aurora Children’s Early Learning Center was established in 1978 and has thrived in the childcare industry for more than 30 years, largely through word-of-mouth support and testimonials. The stated goal of the program is to prepare a strong foundation for future academic success and to develop an early love of school and learning with every activity.
