Aurora School of Music

Aurora School of Music offers weekly music lessons in piano, voice, guitar, percussion, woodwinds, strings, and brass. It also includes ensemble classes that meet weekly, Student Recitals held four weekends each year, Rock Concerts held four times each year for students studying rock, pop, and jazz music, and Chamber Music Recitals for students in string quartets, woodwind quintets, and other chamber groups.

About the provider

Aurora School of Music was established in 2003 and was founded by Vera Holczer-Waroquet. Students perform at on-site recitals, rock concerts, chamber music recitals, and in the Aurora community and beyond. The program says participation in performances is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.

Participation in performances is not mandatory but strongly recommended. Each performer must be approved at his or her teacher's recital prep class prior to performing on the recital. Ensemble classes meet weekly. Rock bands are formed based on common musical interests, age, and playing level.
