Jump Start Gymnastics Camps

Jump Start Gymnastics Camps include structured gymnastics instruction on bars, beam, floor, and trampoline, along with gymnastic games, group activities, and open gym time. Campers take part in strength, coordination, and obstacle course activities, plan and create agility courses, and work on acquiring new gymnastic skills. The program also includes creating gymnastics balance beam and floor routines, team-building skills through group games and cheerleading, themed days such as PJ day with crazy hair, mismatched, backward, and comfy pajamas, and sessions that feature various Olympic sports using gymnastic equipment in track and field, volleyball, and group gymnastic routines.

• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Summer camps run for 9 weeks from June 8–August 14, 2026, generally 9:15 am–3:00 pm with daily or weekly enrollment, aftercare available 3:00–5:00 pm, and additional single-day Tumbling Turkey and Black Friday Thanksgiving Camps from 10:00 am–2:00 pm with an optional open gym extension to 3:30 pm
• Price: Summer camps are $300 per week (9:15 am–3:00 pm) or $60 per day with $10 per day aftercare; Tumbling Turkey and Black Friday Thanksgiving Camps cost $60 for the first camper and $30 for each additional child, with an optional $10 open gym extension per participant

Jump Start Gymnastics Camps are part of Jump Start! Gymnastics, founded in 2004 by Maureen Eppich. The program states that gymnastics is for everyone and describes gymnastics as an excellent basis for physical fitness and coordination for every sport and children’s health. Its stated goal is to encourage, motivate, and assist students in achieving their full potential through an enjoyable and supportive environment, with a commitment to the holistic development of young gymnasts.

The camps are led by USAG certified staff, and the coaches are USAG safety certified. Jump Start! Gymnastics describes itself as a nurturing atmosphere for gymnasts at all levels and uses the slogan “great fun, great fitness, and great gymnastics!” The program offers weekly themed summer camp weeks such as Get the Summer Moving Flip Style, Gymkata for Boys & Girls–Train like a Gym Warrior, Dance Explosion! Gymnastic Routines!, Pajama Party weeks, Best of the Olympic Events – Gymnastic Style, Invention Convention for Thrills – Let’s learn a new Skill!, Team Spirit Week, and Flips, Twists, & more.

Jump Start Gymnastics Camps are open to boys and girls ages 4–14 and all levels of gymnastics experience, from recreational to competitive athletes, and non-members are welcome. Open gym is available to both campers and pre-registered participants of all ages, and Tumbling Turkey and Black Friday Thanksgiving Camp days can be extended by adding this open gym option. Additional siblings, relatives, and friends registered from the same account are half the price for certain camps, payment is due in full at registration, a current updated account in the Parent Portal is required, and there are no refunds for canceled, absent, or unattended camp days, camp weeks, aftercare, or open gym.
