The Little Gym of Shaker Heights

The Little Gym of Shaker Heights offers parent-child classes for babies and toddlers, as well as Pre-K Gymnastics, Grade School Gymnastics, and gymnastics programs for all skill levels. Children take part in activities such as tumbling, balancing, climbing, and Dance. The program also hosts birthday parties and offers summer camp sessions.

The Little Gym of Shaker Heights is described as a kid’s gymnastics gym and a place where children learn and grow through movement-based learning and imaginative play. It is described as part of a global community of families, instructors, and local business owners, and as a safe space for children and parents to explore gymnastics and more. The organization describes its approach as “Serious Fun” and uses a proprietary philosophy called Three-Dimensional Learning, which includes Get Moving, Brain Boost, and Citizen Kid, with an emphasis on social and emotional learning.

The Little Gym was founded by Robin Wes, who opened the first location in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington, and the organization marks 50 years since it first opened its doors. One parent stated, “We recently joined but our daughter loves it so far! The staff is amazing and very attentive! Can’t wait to see how our little one grows and thrives in her class!” Another parent commented, “Great instructors! Especially Thursday 6 PM class.
