The Goddard School of Beachwood offers activities such as American Sign Language, art history, an art studio, chess, dance, music appreciation, and dramatic arts in a dedicated dramatic arts space. Children use learning tools including computers, tablets, digital cameras, interactive whiteboards, microscopes, and a STEAM cart/computer lab, along with an exploration room and a literacy nook. The program also includes engineering and robotics activities, physical fitness and sports on playgrounds, an indoor gym and basketball court, an Imagination Playground, an outdoor classroom, and Soccer Shots, as well as nutrition, a child learning kitchen, and yoga and mindfulness.

The Goddard School of Beachwood uses air filtration systems, an air purifying system, disinfectant sprayers, and EPA-approved cleaning products, and it has features such as crash-rated fencing, finger guards, a gate alarm, a Halo iris scanner, outdoor security cameras, parking lot bollards, and supervised lobby entry. The program offers catering, fresh fruit and vegetable snacks, and the option to order food. The school includes secondary languages, world cultures, and the Wonder of Learning® education program.
The leadership team includes Executive Director Dr. Robin Pettiegrew, who has an undergraduate degree in Middle Childhood Education from Miami University, a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and a PhD in School Administration from Cleveland State University, and over 1,500 hours in school and child safety certification and training.
