CCDSummer includes activities such as swimming, swim instruction, guided hikes, animal care, gardening, daily farm chores, speed and agility training, science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and games. Farm and Forest camp within CCDSummer embraces outdoor exploration in all weather and offers an optional program extension to create a full-day schedule. Extended Day Camps provide a way to extend the day for day camp participants, and post-camp programs extend the camp experience outside the eight weeks of day camp.

• Schedule: Eight weeks of day camp, with Extended Day Next Level Sports Camp from 3:00–5:30 p.m. and post-camp programs that extend outside these eight weeks
CCDSummer activities are led by experienced educators, coaches, staff, and camp partners. The program is guided by Cincinnati Country Day School’s core character virtues of Respect, Courage, Integrity, Compassion, and Responsibility. Cincinnati Country Day School is a coeducational, college preparatory, private school in Indian Hill, Ohio serving students from 18 months through 18 years and teaching students from early childhood and pre-k to grade 12. Cincinnati Country Day School has been focused on providing innovative preparation to students since 1926, and CCDSummer is part of this school community.
The CCDSummer leadership team includes Rob Zimmerman ’98, Head of School. Cincinnati Country Day School’s 60-acre campus offers indoor and outdoor learning spaces, including expansive athletic fields, gymnasiums, a performing arts theater, an all-weather track, a turf field, multi-age playgrounds, a dining facility, a 6-lane pool, a 7-court tennis complex, an amphitheater, hiking trails, a playscape, and natural outdoor classrooms.
CCDSummer has teamed up with INSPIRIT AI, Get Sharp Soccer, and Nike Sports to offer partnership camp programs. Cincinnati Country Day School and SAGE Dining Services have teamed up with Last Mile Food Rescue to donate viable leftover food to help address food insecurity in the Cincinnati area.
Members of the Cincinnati Country Day School community connected to CCDSummer have received several recognitions, including Evan DiTullio being recognized as Educator of the Year by Queen City Theatre Collaborative. Nancy Bergsten is the recipient of the 2024 Staff Recognition Award for her distinguished service to the school community. Ann Gardner and Terri Sears were honored as the 2024 recipients of the Patterson-Strauss Travel Grant. Amy Thonnerieux and Emily DiMatteo are the 2022–23 Pattison Award winners, and the 2024 recipients of the Pattison Award are Malena Castro and Ann Wimmer.
