About
Cuyahoga Community College Summer Camps include more than 20 camps where students take part in activities such as private and group lessons through the Creative Arts Academy, manufacturing and engineering projects through the Nuts and Bolts Academy, foundational performance training in a two-week Summer Theatre Workshop, and jazz performance experiences in the Tri-C JazzFest Academy Summer Camp. At these camps, participants may study voice, movement and acting methodology, rehearse and present a one-act play, engage in innovative, hands-on STEAM activities related to science, technology, engineering, art and math, and play in big band and small groups, including jam sessions with visits from national JazzFest artists and attendance at Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland performances. The Tri-C JazzFest Academy Summer Camp ends with a series of featured performances during JazzFest weekend, and all experience levels are welcome in that camp.
