Tri-C Summer Camps

Tri-C Summer Camps include more than 20 camps where students can take private and group lessons through the Creative Arts Academy, study manufacturing and engineering through hands-on STEAM activities in the Nuts and Bolts Academy, and participate in a two-week Summer Theatre Workshop focused on voice, movement and acting methodology. Theatre Workshop participants rehearse and present a one-act play, while Tri-C JazzFest Academy campers play in big band, small groups and jam sessions, visit with national JazzFest artists, attend Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland performances, and take part in featured performances during JazzFest weekend.

• Schedule: The Theatre Workshop is a two-week Summer Theatre Workshop.
• Price: A 100% refund is given if a completed withdrawal request is received 5 business days before the class begins for open enrollment courses. No refund is given after the class begins.

Tri-C states that it offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth that are designed to promote individual development. The Creative Arts Academy is Cuyahoga Community College’s preparatory program for pre-college students ages four to adult, offers private and group lessons to students of all experience levels and backgrounds, and has students study with distinguished faculty artists. Nuts and Bolts Academy offers students at multiple grade levels the opportunity to participate in fun, educational experiences, with programming available year-round during the fall, spring and summer semesters, and introduces students to manufacturing and engineering through innovative, hands-on STEAM activities.

The Theatre Workshop is focused on foundational performance training for high school students in grades nine through 12 and is designed to promote artistic discipline, ensemble skills and college readiness within the performing arts. Ricky Quintana, M.F.A, is associated with the Theatre Workshop. All experience levels are welcome at the Tri-C JazzFest Academy Summer Camp, and participants have the opportunity to interact with national JazzFest artists and perform during JazzFest weekend.

Tri-C notes that it is a Top 10 Military Friendly school. The Plant Science and Landscape Technology team finished in first place out of 54 competing institutions at the 2026 National Collegiate Landscape Competition, and student Josiah Hull came in second overall in individual honors. Tri-C, the Cleveland Guardians and EL1 Sports opened the Guardians Training Center at the Tri-C Western Campus in Parma, and the facility will provide athletic training alongside educational and community initiatives.
