About
Cultured Kids Club Summer Camp offers Spanish, French, and Chinese language programs that use full immersion to teach both the language and the cultures of five different native-speaking countries. Children take part in specific activities such as Spanish Camp, French Camp, dancing the Flamenco, and learning what an Alpine marmot is, using fun and engaging age-appropriate activities that can include Quizlet games, cartoons, and YouTube videos. The program also offers Community Center Programs, online LIVE “ZOOM” language center programs, private one-on-one language learning lessons, after-school programs before or after the regular school day, Parent & Tot classes, and Pre-K Explorers classes.

Since 2008, Cultured Kids Club has educated thousands of students in foreign language proficiency through its award-winning “Language In Action®” total immersion foreign language programs. The program’s goal is to provide children the advanced language skills necessary to achieve native-level communication in reading, writing, and verbal pronunciation for a lifetime of opportunity in education, employment and world adventure. Its “Language In Action®” curriculum is an advancing learning system with 6 language proficiency levels to achieve bilingual fluency, focuses on speaking, reading, and writing, and aligns with ACTFL standards. Classes are categorized by age and proficiency level, designed to educate and support children at their individual level, and maintain small class sizes of 6–8 children, with all registered families receiving a password to a “Student Corner” webpage with extra between-classroom learning materials.
Cultured Kids Club describes itself as a total immersion foreign language center dedicated to growing multilingual children, offering programs in more than 50 locations throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Teachers are native-speaking, hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, are proficient in Total Immersion and Total Response teaching methods, have native pronunciation and communication skills, are CPR and First Aid certified, are up-to-date on FBI and BCI background checks, have early education experience, and are experienced in administering “Language In Action®” classes at every age and skill level. Cultured Kids Club states that it only hires teachers with teaching experience and with native or fluent communication skills, and that its teachers are described as “the crème de la crème of language educators.” One parent testimonial notes, “We’ve been coming to Spanish class for our 3 year old since he was 1 1/2. It’s a great place to be around other toddlers, learn and enrich his mind with new ideas and topics every week. We’re planning on joining the advanced pre-k class!” — Brittany Y.
