Dance ELITE Performance Academy has been inspiring and training dancers since 2010. All classes and workshops are taught by professional choreographers. The program is led by Samara Tillman, Founder and Artistic Director of Dance ELITE Performance Academy. The mission of Dance ELITE Performance Academy is to enrich the lives of the people in the community through the art and discipline of dance.
Dance E.L.I.T.E. Performance Academy is described as Columbus’ premiere dance studio, providing quality instruction in a welcoming yet challenging environment while keeping the whole student in mind. It offers a wide range of dance classes and is most known for its emphasis on hip-hop and jazz. The program focuses on strengthening each dancer's technique individually and gives dancers countless opportunities to showcase their talent to the world. It strives to give young dancers the opportunity to build confidence and character and foster the drive to succeed in all facets of life. The program believes that dance should be accessible to everyone, and its expansion will help double the number of youth it mentors and enhance scholarship opportunities.
Parents and dancers have shared that they love the commitment to excellence shown in the studio and describe it as friendly and fun filled. Families report that dancers are learning and growing as dancers, and some describe the studio as more than just a dance school.
