Swimming Lessons offers structured swimming lessons taught by qualified swim lesson instructors. All classes are 30 minutes.

• Schedule: All classes are 30 minutes
• Price: Parent and Infant Age: 6 mo. to 3 years $48 per session; Pre-K Age: 3–5 $48 per session; School Age Age: 6–14 years $48 per session; Adult Age: 15+ $48 per session; Financial Assistance PLAY Scholarships are available to help cover $20 in fees.

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department offers these swimming lessons as part of its range of programs for toddlers to seniors. The department includes eight outdoor pools and an indoor aquatics center, more than 400 parks on over 13,500 acres, 28 community centers, five athletic complexes, six golf courses, 230 miles of regional trails, six spraygrounds and interactive fountains, 25 nature preserves, three reservoirs, five dog parks, and a skate park. On July 15, 1910, the City Recreation Department was established, and on January 2, 1972, it merged with the Division of Forestry and Parks to become Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. Its stated mission is: “We connect the people of our community through the power of nature, wellness and creativity.”
