About

Youth Services – Kids Club includes homework assistance, tutoring with a reading specialist, and individual reading time. The program also includes activities that foster youth’s development of social skills.

• Schedule: Weekday hours are available during Food Pantry hours and CRC Administrative Office hours.

The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center, which runs Youth Services – Kids Club, was founded in 1971 as part of the century-old settlement house movement. Its mission is to deliver responsive services, cultivate partnerships, and promote opportunities to foster a healthier community. CRC is a United Way Member Agency, a member of the Columbus Federation of Settlements, and an equal opportunity provider. The organization’s leadership includes Executive Director Stephanie Baker, President Andy Hall, Vice President Ryan Deeter, Treasurer Craig Freshour, Secretary Joe Blundo, and board members Helen Patton, Sarah Powell, Matt Sommer, Paul Marshall, Abiel Kiflu, Susan Dlouhy, Carmeen Yarbrough, Garrett Gemmaka, and Kevin Johnson. CRC’s community work also includes a food pantry, child and youth programs, senior services, and a kinship care program, and it partners with the Harry C. Moores Foundation, The Micah Fund, and Comfest.
