Youth Services – Kids Club includes homework assistance, tutoring with a reading specialist, and individual reading time. The program also includes activities that foster youths’ development of social skills.
The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center was founded in 1971. Its mission is to deliver responsive services, cultivate partnerships, and promote opportunities to foster a healthier community. The CRC is part of the century-old settlement house movement. The CRC is a United Way Member Agency and a member of the Columbus Federation of Settlements. CRC partners include the Harry C. Moores Foundation, The Micah Fund, and Comfest. The organization’s leadership includes Stephanie Baker, Executive Director; Andy Hall, President; Ryan Deeter, Vice President; Craig Freshour, Treasurer; Joe Blundo, Secretary; Garrett Gemmaka; Kevin Johnson; Abiel Kiflu; Paul Marshall; Helen Patton; Sarah Powell; Matt Sommer; and Carmeen Yarbrough.
