Top Level Martial Arts Kids Jiu-Jitsu Programs offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for children through its Lil Grapplers and Kids Jiu Jitsu classes. The Lil Grapplers program introduces younger children to Jiu-Jitsu techniques, and the Kids Jiu Jitsu program continues this training for older kids. The facility also offers Sports BJJ and Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with kids and adults training in the same full-time Jiu-Jitsu facility.

Since 2010, Top Level Martial Arts has offered Jiu-Jitsu training to thousands of people. The kids programs include Lil Grapplers for ages 4–6 and Kids Jiu Jitsu for ages 7–16, and classes are available for ages 4 to 104. The program’s mission is to present Gracie Jiu-Jitsu as the tool for improving the lives of people in the community, and it serves the greater Akron and Cleveland area.
Every instructor has passed CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, completed an intensive 40-hour instructor training program, and undergoes continuing education. Instructors teaching the kids program have earned at least a 2-stripe Blue Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, representing over 400 hours of training, and instructors for the adult program have earned at least a 2-stripe Purple Belt, representing over 800 hours of training. Instructors meet children on their level, set clear expectations for behavior, and lead children by example rather than by fear.
Top Level Martial Arts is a full-time Jiu-Jitsu facility with classes offered all day, every day, and is described as the premier destination for both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. The Top Level Jiu Jitsu team promotes problem-solving, sportsmanship, discipline, and resilience in individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Adult members describe the culture as a place to unwind, blow off steam, meet people, and get a workout, and members often sit in lounges or locker rooms and talk after class.
The academy is a proud affiliate of the Pedro Sauer Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association. Master Pedro Sauer is an 8th Degree Coral Belt under Grand Masters Helio and Rickson Gracie and was voted “Best of the Best” among Jiu-Jitsu instructors in a worldwide poll in 2005. The owner and Head Instructor is Bill Jones.
Parents and adult students describe the environment and instruction in their own words. One parent calls it “an amazing program” and says the instructors are “amazing with the children” and that the children are “friendly and respectful.” Another parent notes that instructors for the kids classes are “very professional, and kind, yet disciplined and structured,” and that staff make “safety and cleanliness a top priority.” Other members mention a “wide schedule,” “great coaches,” a “warm welcoming community,” and say they are “100% confident” they made the right choice.
