The Goddard School of Grove City

The Goddard School of Grove City offers before school and after school programs that include both before school transportation and after school transportation. Children participate in activities such as American Sign Language, chess, physical fitness, yoga and mindfulness, and use of an interactive whiteboard, and they have access to playgrounds. The school uses health and safety features including finger guards, a gate alarm, and outdoor security cameras.

The Goddard School of Grove City is independently owned and operated, with Kelly Van Syckle serving as the on-site operator and Samantha Elliott as the owner of the Grove City and Worthington Goddard locations. The school follows the Wonder of Learning® education program and offers programs from infants and toddlers to pre-K, kindergarten and beyond in classrooms designed specifically with children's needs in mind. It is Cognia® accredited. The mission statement for The Goddard School of Grove City states that the school believes the start of a child's journey matters and that it offers an expert curriculum, experienced teachers and a nurturing environment to provide the foundation for their growth. Kelly Van Syckle has been involved throughout the community and the Grove City Rotary.

Parent feedback includes comments that staff are wonderful and that children seem to be in great hands, with one parent giving a Goddard Score of 10/10 and noting that their kids come home excited every day and eager to share what they learned and did. Other parents describe the school as providing quality early childhood education with phenomenal staff, and say their children are safe and cared for. Several parents mention long-term attendance of their children, positive communication about their child's day, and that their children are excited to go to the school.
