In 1949 Butler Springs Christian Camp was founded, and 75 years later it is still serving. Over the years, Butler Springs Christian Camp & Retreat Center has kept its foundation in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and its mission is to provide resources that build Christ-like relationships. The camp states that thousands of young people have given their lives to the Lord through the “Living Springs” of Butler Springs. The program is staffed by qualified staff and is located on 180 acres of land with what it describes as excellent facilities. It serves churches of the Restoration Movement from areas in, near, or around Dayton, Cincinnati, Chillicothe, Columbus, northern Kentucky, and towns across southwest Ohio. The organization states that it strives to create a distraction free environment for guests to be able to connect with and learn about God, and that it believes Christian camping is a great way for young people to grow in their faith and meet Christian role models.
