Summer Day Camp takes place at a branch that also offers youth sports, teen programs, and parent/child programs. The same branch includes a full sized gymnasium, an indoor family play area, an indoor playland, and a 25 yard indoor swimming pool that is used for aquatics programs and swim lessons for all ages. Families using Summer Day Camp have access to a facility that also provides Free Child Watch for children ages 6 weeks to 11 years old during specific hours on weekdays and Saturdays.
• Schedule: Branch open Monday from 5:00am–12:00am; Tuesday–Friday 24 hours; Saturday 12:00am–6:00pm; Sunday 1:00pm–5:00pm. Free Child Watch available Monday–Thursday 8:00am–8:30pm, Friday 8:00am–8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm, Sunday closed.
The branch that runs Summer Day Camp also offers swimming lessons, group exercise classes, personal training, virtual workouts through YMCA360, and events such as the Strong Kids Triathlon, a golf outing, Parent's Night Out, and a Community CPR & First-Aid Course. The leadership team includes an Executive Director, Senior Membership Director, Aquatics Director, Aquatics Coordinator, Health and Wellness Director, Active Older Adults Coordinator, Sports Director, Senior Child Care Director, Maintenance Director, and a Board Chair. The mission of the YMCA is stated as “Help build a better us! Thousands of volunteers every year support the YMCA's mission.” The staff and members recognize community partners including The City of Huber Heights and The Trails Church.
