About the provider
Lorain County Metro Parks has served Lorain County since 1957, when the park district was created. The Park District states that it was established for the responsible use, enjoyment, and accessibility of every citizen of Lorain County, and it offers educational and recreational opportunities that are compatible with conservation of natural resources. Programs are often offered in schools, nursing homes, community centers, and related locations.
Programs must be scheduled at least one month in advance, with 2-3 months ahead encouraged. Groups are restricted to two programs during a three month seasonal period. Out-of-county groups may request a program at one of the facilities. LCMP will not travel out-of-county for programming purposes. Account must be paid in full to proceed with scheduling a requested program.
