The Works Youth Camps & Programs take place at The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology, an interactive museum for families of all ages that features first floor science labs, hot glassblowing demonstrations, the SciDome planetarium, and exhibits on local history. The Works offers hands-on discovery with local history, art, science, and glassblowing, including a Glass Fusing camp for kids ages 9–12 that explores the art and science of glass. The vision for The Works began in the early 1990s.

The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology states that it is more than a museum, offering new hands-on opportunities to inspire creativity and learning every day. Membership at The Works includes unlimited general admission, discounts on camps, classes, the gift shop, and special events, and free and discounted admission to museums and historical sites nationwide.

Local educators, artists, engineers, and community leaders became partners in the creation of The Works. The Works is a Smithsonian Affiliate Institution and a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC), the North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM), ROAM (Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums), and the Time Travelers network.
