About

National Inventors Hall of Fame Education Programs (Camp Invention & Related Programs) offers hands-on fun and creativity with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts. The programs include Camp Invention for kindergarten through 6th grade, Club Invention for 1st through 6th grade, Leaders-in-Training for 7th through 9th grade, and the Leadership Intern Program for high school and college students.

The National Inventors Hall of Fame Education Programs are based on annual curricula created by the education team in collaboration with National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees, with the stated mission of making STEM education accessible and promoting innovation across the country. The organization has honored the spirit of innovation and promoted inventors as role models since 1973 and reports impacting more than 4 million children, students, educators and innovators across the nation since its founding in 1973. Its community involvement includes partnerships with over 2,500 schools and districts nationwide and in Puerto Rico over the past year, support in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and 2,144 philanthropic partners focused on making STEM education more accessible.

The leadership team includes Rachelle Albrechta (Director of Program Development), Jayme Cellitioci (Senior Director of Education), Ashley Giordano (Manager of Program Management), Susie Duchon (Education Specialist), Rachel Lutes (Curriculum Writer), Emily Mitchell (Senior Content Writer), Sara Pompeo (Editor), Maggie Saine (Spanish Services Lead & Education Specialist), and Jennifer Sitton (Director of Science & Product Development). Staff credentials include degrees in fields such as art education, gifted education, psychology, biology, creativity and change leadership, history, museum studies, middle childhood education with a focus in mathematics and ELA, advertising, professional and technical writing with journalism, Spanish, biopsychology, cell and organismal biology, and a doctorate in biology specializing in science education. The programs connect world-changing innovators with today’s youth and include several programs promoting innovation for all ages in all communities, alongside a museum and Hall of Fame Inductees that honor the history of innovation.
