One parent reports that Horizon’s after school program helped a child improve performance in spelling and math through individualized attention, and that the child developed an interest in science through the program and staff. Another parent shares that a child with separation anxiety and ADHD improved with the help of teachers who supported milestones and preparation for the outside world, and that the child experiences the program like a second family. A third parent, whose children attend the Triskett Station location, states that staff showed compassion and tailored their approach to a struggling child rather than using a “one size fits all” approach.
