Seven Hills Community Recreation Center Youth Programs and Camps offers activities that include Run for the Hills XC 5K, Pink Flamingo Youth Triathlon, Theatre Improv Classes, swim lessons, swim team, lifeguard training, and a variety of sports such as flag football, volleyball, softball, bocci, and pickle ball. The program also takes place in a facility that offers adult water exercise, yoga, Jazzercise, sound bath, Reiki, Zumba, aerobics, personal training, and Pilates.
• Schedule: The Recreation Center is open Sunday 12:00pm–6:00pm, Monday–Friday 5:30am–9:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am–8:00pm, with the pool closing 15 minutes before the building; Theatre Improv Classes run June 23rd to October 13th on Tuesdays from 7:30–9:00pm, with no class on August 11th.
• Price: Resident Guest Pass with valid ID is $5, Parma Resident Guest Pass with valid ID is $10, Non-Resident Guest Pass with valid ID is $15; the Goodtime III Lunch Cruise on July 9, 2026, is $75 per person.
The Community Recreation Center opened in February 2003. The leadership team includes Jennifer Burger, Recreation Director; Mike Gallagher, Assistant Director; Leigh Owen, Aquatics Supervisor; Michael Klubnik, Park Supervisor; Amanda Nelson, City Administrative Specialist; and Gina Flowers, Before & After Care. The Center’s mission states that it is dedicated to creating a healthy, inclusive, educational, and fun environment with year-round programming for all ages, abilities, and skill levels, with accommodations so each participant can work toward personal goals and with a focus on physical, mental, emotional, and social growth in a safe, inclusive atmosphere. The facility includes a suspended walking track, a natatorium, an aerobics studio, a fitness area with Nautilus, cardio, and free weights, two gymnasiums, family changing areas, and gathering rooms for private parties, pool parties, and meetings, and the entire facility is smoke-free and vape-free. Outside equipment such as pool floats is not permitted, shoes must be worn at all times except in the natatorium and locker rooms, only athletic shoes are allowed in the gym, aerobics room, fitness area, and track, muddy or dirty shoes are not allowed, and shirts must always be worn except in the pool.
