So-So Artsy Kids Events & Camps offers kids’ paint parties and arts and crafts activities as part of The ‘So-So Artsy’ Experience, which is a party that includes arts, sips, music, and fun. The program includes options such as private paint parties, birthdays, graduations, pre-pajama party events, play dates, holiday parties, reading party events, costume parties, baby showers, team building exercises and events, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family reunions and family meetings, girls night out, fellows night out, corporate events and parties, field trips, date night, graduation parties, and SUMMER ARTSY CAMP! 2026. It also offers wood craft workshops such as porch leaners, door knockers, wine trays, charcuterie boards, and sign making, along with public, private, mobile, and virtual events where everyone leaves with a piece of art they have created.

• Schedule: Studio hours are by appointment request only on Sunday and Monday, with regular hours Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 8pm, Friday from noon to 9pm, and Saturday from noon to 10pm, and events are scheduled by appointment Sunday through Saturday; sessions are structured so that participants complete a finished masterpiece in about 2 hours.
• Price: Wood workshops and painting and design sessions for porch leaners, door knockers, wine trays, charcuterie boards, and sign making range from $40 to $75 per person, depending on the size of the wooden surface.

So-So Artsy Kids Events & Camps is led by Melinda, the founder and owner of So-So Artsy. The founder is a former social worker, school counselor, and life skills coach, and has been working as a professional arts and crafts instructor since 2018.

The program’s mission is to add value to the community by spreading the joy of art, giving voice to creativity in each person, and becoming a therapeutic outing for artistic expression in a fun, relaxing, therapeutic, and socially interactive environment. It aims to be a working-teaching studio that offers a variety of art-cultured activities in a fun yet relaxing atmosphere and to evolve into an educative yet creative working space for individuals of all ages. The program states that the objective of The ‘So-So Artsy’ Experience is to increase self-esteem, boost confidence, learn new ways of relaxing, increase social interaction with others, learn to smile again, decrease anxiety, and learn new ways of having fun.

So-So Artsy Kids Events & Camps provides all art supplies, including aprons, and guests can bring their own refreshments and food. The studio has a Bluetooth speaker for preferred music, provides paper plates, cups, wine glasses, napkins, bottled water, and has a limited amount of ice available. A talented instructor assists the party and guides participants step by step throughout the class, with painting aprons placed on the backs of seats, guests allowed to arrive up to 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, and parties beginning promptly at the scheduled time, followed by a group photo with friends.
