About
AmeriDance Camps offers instruction in jazz routines, pom routines, hip hop routines, lyrical routines, and kick routines. The program also includes technique sessions, private coaching, leadership and team unity activities, a Home Dance Routine contest, a Dorm Room Decorating Contest, the Excite Night squad lip-sync contest, and a Daily Spirit Stick Rally.

AmeriDance Camps is part of the AmeriCheer Family of Brands, which has been putting the spotlight on cheerleaders at instructional camps and elite competitions for over 40 years. For over 20 years, AmeriDance’s team of experts has provided tools, techniques, and trends in the world of today’s dancers. AmeriDance and Eastern Dance have teamed up to offer a camp experience centered around teams’ needs and goals, with options that include Overnight Camps, Home Camps, Day Camps, UR Choreography Camps, Specialty Camps, and Dance Camps To Go.
AmeriDance’s staff is hand-selected from some of the top college and university programs in the nation and is professionally trained and tested for many hours before instructing their first camp. All AmeriDance camps offer evaluations and daily awards as well as final overall awards, recognizing hard work, achievement, spirit, enthusiasm, team unity, and individual recognition. Participants can receive spirit sticks, trophies, certificates, and invites to special events, and every team and individual has the ability to try out for the All American Dream Team.
All American Dream Team members get the opportunity to participate in performance opportunities such as the Citrus Bowl halftime show, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Cleveland Cavaliers Performance. The program includes numerous camp awards such as InBid InterNational Awards, Daily and Weekly Evaluation Awards, Spirit Awards, Improvement Awards, Sportsmanship Awards, Teamwork Awards, Most Admired Awards, Home Dance Championship Awards, Senior Recognition Awards, All-American Dream Team Selections, Top Squad Awards, Most Spirited Squad Award, Coaches Recognition Awards, Dorm Decorating Contest Awards, Excite Night Awards, and Spirit Sticks. The Athlete Honors Scholarship program involves a solo performance receiving a Superior Rating, an essay, two letters of recommendation, and an interview to qualify.
The Customer Appreciation Program (CAP) and VIP Coaches Club reward loyal customers with discounted athlete pricing and free coaches based on attendance history and number of athletes. The mission of AmeriDance Camps is “To provide comprehensive instruction and competitive opportunities for young adults in a professional and economical manner while serving as an advocate for the interests of coaches, cheerleaders and dancers.” Critics state, “Prepare for the Ultimate Camp Experience with AmeriDance & Eastern! You will get 5 Star Treatment and be ready for an unforgettable season!” The 2026 AmeriCheer & AmeriDance InterNationals are heading back to Universal Orlando Resorts. The cancellation and refund policy for Overnight Camps includes a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $50 per participant and written notice at least 30 days prior to the camp date for a full refund less the deposit.
