About
AmeriDance Dance Camps offers overnight camps, home camps, day camps, UR Choreography Camps, and Specialty Camps that include jazz, pom, hip hop, lyrical, and kick routines. Camp sessions include technique sessions, private coaching, leadership and team unity activities, evaluations with daily awards, final overall awards, and All-American Dream Team tryouts and selections. Participants may also take part in contests and spirit activities such as the Home Dance Routine contest, Dorm Room Decorating Contest, Excite Night squad lip-sync contest, and the Daily Spirit Stick Rally.

• Price: $5 off/athlete on any Private camp for CAP participants; $8 off/athlete on Resident Camps for CAP participants (does not apply to Specialty Camps); $7 off/athlete on any Private camp for VIP participants; $12 off/athlete on Resident camps for VIP participants (does not apply to Specialty Camps)
AmeriDance Dance Camps includes recognition through daily and weekly evaluation awards, spirit awards, improvement awards, sportsmanship awards, teamwork awards, most admired awards, home dance championship awards, senior recognition awards, All-American Dream Team selections, top squad awards, most spirited squad award, coaches recognition awards, dorm decorating contest awards, Excite Night awards, and spirit sticks, with actual awards varying by camp. All-American Dream Team members get performance opportunities such as the Citrus Bowl halftime show, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, and a Cleveland Cavaliers performance. The Athlete Honors Scholarship program is based on a solo performance receiving a Superior Rating, an essay, two letters of recommendation, and an interview, and InBid InterNational Awards are listed among awards given at camps.
AmeriDance and Eastern Dance have teamed up to offer camp material created with all levels and styles in mind, with a focus on technical skills, memory, precision, mentoring, and leading a team. Every team and individual has the ability to try out for the All American Dream Team, and participants can receive spirit sticks, trophies, certificates, and invites to special events. The Customer Appreciation Program (CAP) and VIP Coaches Club reward loyal customers, and free coaches are provided with athletes registered under CAP based on the number of athletes.
AmeriDance’s staff is hand-selected from some of the top college and university programs in the nation and is professionally trained and tested for skills, character, empathy, leadership, and teamwork before instructing their first camp. For over 20 years, AmeriDance’s team of experts has been providing tools, techniques, and trends for dancers, and the AmeriCheer Family of Brands has been putting the spotlight on cheerleaders at instructional camps and elite competitions for over 40 years. AmeriCheer recognizes every team at each competition and camp and states a mission “to provide comprehensive instruction and competitive opportunities for young adults in a professional and economical manner while serving as an advocate for the interests of coaches, cheerleaders and dancers.” A quoted critic describes AmeriDance and Eastern as offering “5 Star Treatment” and an “Ultimate Camp Experience” that prepares participants for “an unforgettable season.”
