MAC Summer Camps offer art camps that include visual arts, ceramics, dance, and writing. The program takes place at the McConnell Arts Center, which is also known as the MAC.
• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Office hours Tuesday–Friday, 10 am–5 pm; main gallery hours Monday–Friday, 10 am–5 pm and Tuesday–Saturday, 10 am–5 pm; closed Friday, July 3, with special holiday hours on Saturday, July 4, from 5–9 pm
The McConnell Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is “Building pathways to experience the joy and wonder of the arts.” The organization is housed in a 1916 school building that includes a 213 seat theatre, gallery spaces, four classrooms, a dance studio, and a ceramics studio. There is no admission fee to view exhibitions, and the gallery is open during all MAC events and classes. The Worthington Arts Festival is a community event presented in conjunction with the City of Worthington. The leadership team includes AnnMarie McCallister, Director of Marketing and Communications.
