Seeds of Caring gives us that opportunity.” (Mike Armelie, Educator & Parent Participant). One child participant shared, “We made more than 300 lunches for people who are hungry. I was surprised that such a small number of kids could make such a huge amount of lunches! Just because we’re kids doesn’t mean we can’t make a difference.” (Patrick, Age 10). A senior living partner stated, “Seeds of Caring has brought joy like no other to our community. The simple acts of kindness go a long way among our residents and it is greatly appreciated! We look forward to many more memorable programs together.” Another child said, “Kindness means that we can help each other in any way possible. We are never alone when we are kind to each other.” (Alexis, Age 6). A further reflection from a participant was, “I learned that there is always a reason to hope things can be better for people who are not treated fairly. And kids like me can be the reason things get better.” (Frank, Age 7).
