Westside Metros FC Youth Soccer Programs include activities such as the Benfica Summer Soccer Camp, Spring Break Camp, Metros Academy Winter/Spring, Mighty Metros Winter/Spring, and the Metros Academy Development Program. Westside Metros FC Youth Soccer Programs list leadership roles including Cory Hand as Girls Director of Coaching and Jorge Villafana as Boys Director of Coaching. The club notes community involvement through work to provide additional and unique opportunities for families and the community from within the club, through adidas as club sponsor, and through partnerships with international clubs. Through a partnership with SL Benfica and adidas, the club brings the “Benfica Experience,” connected to SL Benfica, which was founded in February 1904 and received awards including Best Academy of the World in 2015 and 2019 and the Best Youth Team of the Year 2022. The program structure includes annual tryouts held in May, an invitation process that requires accepting the spot, making an initial payment, and signing up for a payment plan before being officially rostered to a team, and separate tryout registration links for teams based in Beaverton, Tualatin/Sherwood, or The Gorge.
