YMCA Full Day Summer Camps include STEM activities, physical activities, arts and crafts, and group games. Camp Collins sessions within this program feature a tree top obstacle course, archery, a zip-line, and other listed camp activities. Some camps are offered as sports camps, and Enrichment camps include STEM, arts, and cooking activities.

YMCA Full Day Summer Camps are led by trained counselors. All Child Development Centers connected with these programs are licensed by the state of Oregon or Washington and maintain all licensing guidelines. The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette hosted its first meeting in the basement of the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Portland in 1868. The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette states that it strives to serve the community in spirit, mind, and body. All Full Day Camps in this program, excluding Camp Collins, are approved providers that can accept Employment Related Day Care (Oregon) and Working Connections Child Care (Washington) funding sources. Assistance is available to qualified participants at Beaverton Family YMCA so everyone has a chance to be a community member regardless of ability to pay. One parent shared that YMCA summer programs had a positive impact on their family and that their child was able to socialize, make new friends, and take part in thoughtful, enriching activities each day.
