YMCA Full Day Summer Camps

YMCA Full Day Summer Camps include STEM activities, physical activities, arts and crafts, and group games. Camp Collins, as part of these camps, offers a tree top obstacle course, archery, a zip-line, and more.

• Ages: 5–12 years old

All of the YMCA Child Development Centers that host these camps are licensed by the state of Oregon or Washington and maintain all licensing guidelines. All YMCA Full Day Camps, except Camp Collins, are approved providers that can accept Employment Related Day Care (Oregon) and Working Connections Child Care (Washington) funding sources. The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette hosted its first meeting in the basement of the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Portland in 1868. YMCA of Columbia-Willamette states that it strives to serve the community in spirit, mind, and body. YMCA of Columbia-Willamette provides health, childcare, and philanthropic services in the Greater Portland and Vancouver areas. A parent shared that YMCA summer programs had a positive impact on their family and that their child was able to socialize, make new friends, and take part in thoughtful, enriching activities each day.
