Summer of Skate Camp includes skateboarding and skate coaching along with art, film, and music projects. Campers take part in skate culture activities that combine time on their boards with creative projects in these areas. Campers cruise around Central Oregon to multiple skateparks during the camp week.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Weekly camps running all summer beginning June 15, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
• Price: Summer of Skate Camp 2026 $375.00
Board House Society states that its mission is to empower everyone through skateboarding, creative expression, and community. Board House Society is a registered non profit, community skate project in Central Oregon that collaborates through schools, camps, events, competitions, Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS), Deschutes Library, skateboard lessons, and other local collaborations to help curate and foster togetherness through skateboarding. The camper to coach ratio is 13 campers to two coaches, and weekly bonus coaches and local artists lead special art, film, and music projects throughout the week. All levels are welcome, and the only stated requirement is that kids are stoked to skate. Refunds are available up to one week before camp, and a signed liability waiver is required before the first day of camp. Campers are asked to bring a skateboard, a helmet (required for all skaters under 18), pads, lunch and snacks, sunscreen, and a filled water bottle.
