Oregon Coast Dance Conservatory

Oregon Coast Dance Conservatory offers classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, acro, tumbling, modern, and musical theater, along with masterclasses. The program uses a height-adjustable barre system in class and has a livestreaming setup so families can watch dancers on screen from a separate sitting room.

The program’s mission statement says that Oregon Coast Dance Conservatory invites dancers to “Catch the Dance Wave™” in a safe, enjoyable, and professional atmosphere where dance is treated as a lifelong journey, and that its mission is to inspire “everyBODY” to embrace their passion for dance, whether for fun or with professional aspirations. Instructors are described as having extensive professional experience, exceptional expertise, and a true passion for dance and teaching, with leadership provided by Creative Director Sara Predebon and founders Jenifer and Chris Klaus. Families describe the facilities as clean, organized, and equipped with top-notch safety features, with a sitting room where parents can watch their children dance live on a big TV screen without disrupting class. One parent notes that masterclasses push students to new heights and calls the studio “a dancer’s paradise,” while another parent reports that her three girls “absolutely loved all of the classes” they took. A mom shares that her daughter Grace especially enjoyed ballet, including doing pirouettes at the barre and watching the teacher demonstrate using the movable barre, and that Grace described the class as “fun and super interesting.” The studio is described by parents as “a gift to our community” and “a dream come true” for the town, and is sharing studio space with Harmony & Me Music for the 2025 summer season while building out a new 3,800 square foot studio location.
