The organization’s mission is to foster a welcoming environment where all are inspired through art immersion workshops that renew artistic vision and enhance life. Creative Arts Community is a 501C3 non-profit organization registered in the state of Oregon since February 28, 1972, and has organized residential workshops every summer since 1966. Michael Curry, whose studio is featured in the tour, is a graduate of The Museum Art School, now known as PNCA. The tour of Michael Curry Studio is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 10:30–11:30 a.m., is limited to 20 tickets in two groups of 10, includes parking at the studio, and is followed by an optional lunch at a local restaurant. All proceeds go toward sustaining the art community experience and supporting programs, operations, and scholarships. One participant shared that Creative Arts Community workshops at Menucha changed their life by providing encouragement and support from other artists and instructors, and the program also shares a quote from Vincent Van Gogh about keeping a love of nature to better understand art.
