The camp serves youth ages 9 to 14 who have a recommendation from a pediatric cardiologist and approval from the Medical Committee. The mission of Merry Heart Children’s Camp is to provide a safe, nurturing and fun outdoor experience for youth with heart conditions where they can meet new friends and develop courage and independence without fear of being judged by others. The site says the camp has been running since August 2015.
Camp is for youth with heart conditions. Any camper 9 to 14 years of age (prior to the start of camp) can attend upon recommendation from their pediatric cardiologist and approval by the Medical Committee. Registration is first come, first served. Limited to 48 campers. 24 boys and 24 girls. The program states a sliding scale payment model and a $60 non-refundable registration fee.
