About
Revolution Soccer Camps offers soccer instruction that includes footwork and ball control, technical skill training, tactical training, and game-based learning. Campers take part in dynamic warm ups and stretching, small sided games, position specific training, full field games, and off-field and evening camp activities.
• Ages: 6–16 years old
• Schedule: Programs run over 4 days, with day and half day options from 9am–3pm or 9am–12pm, and overnight or extended day options that run daily from about 9am–8pm
Programs are offered as day and half day camps, as well as overnight and extended day camps, and college ID camps. Overnight camps include 4 days and 3 nights, comfortable dorm room accommodations, all-you-can-eat buffet meals, entertaining evening activities, and 6 or more hours of soccer training each day. Extended day options are offered at all overnight camp locations and include lunch and dinner, while day and half day campers provide their own lunch. Campers are evaluated on the first day and placed in groups based on age and ability level, and the camp environment is described as appropriate for any age and ability level. Each day is organized into four phases of camp: footwork and ball control, technical skill training, tactical training, and game-based learning, with an emphasis on a camper-to-coach ratio of no greater than 10:1, and the program is open to any and all entrants.
The staff is comprised of coaches and players from top programs throughout the country, including accomplished NCAA coaches, highly regarded high school and club coaches, and collegiate standouts. Each director uses a training program that is described as proven to focus on maximum improvement for campers. Since 2001, the company has developed over 100,000 young athletes at its camps nationwide. Revolution Soccer Camps states that it was designed to give young athletes the opportunity to work hard and improve in a fun, positive atmosphere, and that it believes the combination of fun, hard work, and competition creates a long lasting love and passion for the sport among young players. The program lists partner camps that include adidas Tennis Camps, Gamebreaker Lacrosse Camps, International Squash Academy, Revolution Baseball Camps, Revolution Field Hockey Camps, Revolution Softball Camps, and Revolution Volleyball Camps.
