Crux Rock Gym Youth Climbing Programs

Crux Rock Gym Youth Climbing Programs offers Summer Climbing Camp, Youth Climbing Classes, After School Program, Homeschool, and Private Classes. Summer Climbing Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, for ages 8–15, and Youth Climbing Classes meet 1 class per week for a trimester with rental gear for class.

Programs

• Summer Climbing Camp — 8–15 · Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM · $350 per week · Five-day camp; all ability levels; no experience necessary; 4 kids: 1 instructor.
• Youth Climbing Classes — 1 class per week for a trimester · Experienced instructors; 4:1 student to instructor ratio; rental gear for class.
• After School Program — 8–15 · Monday through Friday, 4:30 – 6:00 pm · $350 per week · Offered to have fun while being safe.
• Homeschool — 6+ · Thursday, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm · $250 per week · Physical education class focused on fitness and bouldering; preregistration and pre-payment required.
• Private Classes — All Ages · 1 class per week (ongoing) · $85 · Individual one-hour lessons with experienced kid’s climbing instructors; customized to the child’s pace.

About the provider

Crux Rock Gym introduced Eugene to indoor rock climbing in 1994. Its mission is to foster a healthy inclusive space for climbing and making friends where people of all ages and backgrounds can get in touch with their adventurous side. Campers head over to the Skinner’s Butte climbing columns for outdoor rock climbing.

Summer camp is for all ability levels; no experience is necessary. Youth Climbing Classes offer rental gear for class. The after school program is for kids ages 8–15.
