Crux Rock Gym Youth Climbing Programs

Crux Rock Gym Youth Climbing Programs include kids rock climbing summer camp, youth climbing classes, and climbing camps. The programs also offer climbing classes, private instruction, beginner’s night, Friday night happy hour climbing, and parties for kids and families.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Climbing options are available throughout the week during regular gym hours, with beginner’s night every Monday evening and Friday night happy hour every Friday evening.
• Price: Friday Night Happy Hour: climbing for half-price

In 1994, Crux Rock Gym introduced Eugene to the sport of indoor rock climbing, and in 2018 the Vickreys transferred ownership to Morgan and Marra Watson. Crux Rock Gym is a family-owned climbing gym that offers lessons and clinics for all ages, along with kids’ classes and special nights for women and students. The gym’s mission is to foster a healthy inclusive space for climbing and making friends where people of all ages and backgrounds can get in touch with their adventurous side. The gym describes having friendly, encouraging staff and members, and offers free gear rentals all night during Beginner’s Night.
