K-Ball is for Pre-K and Kindergarten players on co-ed teams, and all K-Ball kids hit off tees and play in the field. Rookies is a transitional program between K-Ball and Junior Baseball for 1st and 2nd graders, played on local Minor size fields with 60-foot bases and a combination of player and coach pitching. Pre-K through 2nd grade levels are recreational, while 3rd through 8th grade teams play within the Junior Baseball Organization (JBO) at three competitive levels: Federal, American, and National, with National described as a lower level with much less of a commitment for families. Winter camps are planned for 3rd through 8th graders, and for these camps players need tennis shoes, rubber cleats or turf shoes, and a baseball glove, with a bat and helmet listed as optional.

Junior Baseball evaluations are scheduled with Day 1 on Saturday, February 21st and Day 2 on Sunday, February 22nd, with Minors (3rd/4th grade) from 9:00–10:30am, Juniors (5th/6th grade) from 11:00am–12:30pm, and Seniors (7th/8th grade) from 2:00–3:00pm. For evaluations, players are asked to bring a glove, bat, batting helmet, baseball hat, cleats and regular athletic shoes, a water or other hydrating beverage, baseball pants or sweatpants (no shorts), and long sleeves such as a long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, or athletic jacket, and to dress for mostly outdoor activity. Coaches complete NFHS Coaches Concussion Certification & Training. The program states that it was created to provide kids in Pre-K through 8th grade in the Glencoe community access to baseball, welcomes players at all skill levels including those who have never played before, and emphasizes positive coaching experiences to support kids on and off the field.

Hillsboro Parks and Recreation is listed as a resource that can help with financial assistance. The program notes that sponsorships include options such as Grand Slam Sponsor, Home Run Sponsor, and Player Sponsor Program, and that companies or places of business can become Hall of Fame Sponsors or Grand Slam Sponsors. If a company or place of business becomes a Hall of Fame Sponsor or Grand Slam Sponsor, the registration fee becomes free for one player, and these sponsorships are described as tax deductible donations or sponsorships. The organization also states that prior baseball experience is not required to volunteer and that multiple board positions are available.
