STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy

STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy offers theater classes for children in grades K-12, including basic theater education and specialty classes such as musical theater. It also offers camps and workshops year-round, along with "I'm a Star" for actors living with physical and intellectual disabilities ages 13 and up and Stage Troupers, a group of actors performing musicals throughout the Tri-county area.

About the provider

STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy opened in the fall of 2010. Its stated mission is to nurture the artistic, intellectual, and character development of youth and young adults through an educational theatre arts program. At least two of the teachers are credited teachers in the State of Oregon.

All who come to STAGES will be treated in a kind and respectful manner and practice professional theatre etiquette. STAGES offers a limited number of scholarships of up to 75% of the cost of a single class/workshop/camp, with a maximum of $300 per fiscal year, per family.
