About

Youth Volleyball is a team sports program that focuses on Volleyball. It is part of the Youth Volleyball offerings that include organized leagues where players take part in Volleyball games and practices. These organized leagues in Volleyball, Flag Football, and Basketball provide youth opportunities to learn and improve skills, teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun, “fair-play” atmosphere.

• Ages: 8–12 years old

All Team Sports programs are based in Grants Pass and are intended to keep players, parents, coaches, volunteers and staff safe and healthy. In the 2026 Fall Volleyball League, divisions are organized for 3/4 Grade and 5/6 Grade, and teams are generally formed based on the schools the children attend. If participants are home schooled or attend private school, the organization does its best to place them on a team that is nearest to their home. The policy is to give each player equal play time, and all Club Members are considered All Stars. Leagues are always in need of Volunteer Coaches and Team Sponsors, and the 2026 Volleyball League Sponsor is Toyota.

Since 1970, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley has served thousands of Southern Oregon youth each year. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley is to make right choices, and become responsible, productive citizens. One statement shared about the organization is, “Our youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow and champions for a better quality of life in our community.” – Richard “Dick” Smith. Community involvement connected to the organization includes Community Partners, a Pints for a Purpose event at The Phoodery where $1 from every meal or drink purchased from any of 6 restaurants or the taphouse is donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley, and a bingo event where 100% of bingo proceeds go directly to the Boys & Girls Club of the Rogue Valley. Solar Panels installed at the Grants Pass Club will save thousands on power bills each year and eliminate 2,102 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) over the lifetime of the system, which is equivalent to planting 48,977 trees over the lifetime of the system.
