About
Youth Volleyball is part of the Team Sports programs and is offered as a Volleyball League. It takes place within organized leagues that also include Flag Football and Basketball. Team Sports are offered in a fun, “fair-play” atmosphere, and the Youth Volleyball league follows an equal playing time policy where each player is given equal play time.
• Ages: 8–12 years old
Since 1970, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley has served thousands of Southern Oregon youth each year. All Team Sports programs are based in Grants Pass and are intended to keep players, parents, coaches, volunteers and staff safe and healthy. Teams are generally formed based on the schools the children attend, and home schooled or private school participants are placed on a team that is nearest to their home as best as possible. Leagues are always in need of Volunteer Coaches and Team Sponsors. Youth in grades K-12 have access to after-school and summer programming Monday through Friday at three Club locations: Grants Pass, Cave Junction and Talent. Programs and activities are focused in five core areas of youth development: The Arts; Education & Career Development; Sports, Fitness & Recreation; Character & Leadership Development; and Health & Life Skills. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley is to make right choices, and become responsible, productive citizens. AllCare Health sponsors the Triple Play Program, Fields Home Center is the 2024 League Sponsor for the Winter Basketball Season and has been supporting the youth basketball program for more than 24 years, and Toyota is the 2025 Volleyball League Sponsor. “Our youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow and champions for a better quality of life in our community.” - Richard “Dick” Smith
