FC Portland Soccer Academy offers soccer activities and tryouts under the program name FC Portland Soccer Academy. The program includes a game model and player development plan supported by professional coaching and leadership focused on long-term player development.

Founded in 1987, FC Portland Soccer Academy has been preparing and developing Portland's players for the challenges of life through the game of soccer since 1987. The program’s mission is to prepare and develop young athletes for the challenges of life through the game of soccer by cultivating an environment of professional coaching and leadership that focuses on long-term player development, competitive success at the highest level, and building a foundation for future achievements in life. The academy was founded by Clive Charles, who is listed as the founder of F.C. Portland Academy. FC Portland is a founding member of the ECNL Regional League Girls Far West, the Pre-ECNL Far West Conferences, the Pre-ECNL Far West, and the ECNL RL Girls Far West, and it has joined the ECNL Boys Far West Conference for the 2025–2026 period. The program’s teams have earned recognition as U14 ECNL RL Far West Champions (11B ECNL RL), National League NWC U14 Champions (11B Navy), and President's Cup Champions (14B Navy team for winning OYSA U11 President's Cup). FC Portland Field Project is described as building a new home for FC Portland and the Hillsboro community.
