The mission of Northwest Fighting Arts is to offer a variety of classes that increase overall health, strength, confidence, and capabilities in each student, and the school describes itself as a thriving community of like-minded individuals dedicated to developing their potential through martial arts training.
One testimonial from Erik Nelson states that he trained as a student for a year and a half before working at Northwest Fighting Arts, and that every employee there started as a student first. He reports that he practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Tai Chi, and Qigong at the school and chose to work there because he enjoyed the atmosphere and culture.
