About

i9 Sports Youth Sports Leagues, Camps and Clinics offers youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics that include youth flag football, youth soccer, youth baseball, t-ball, youth basketball, youth volleyball, lacrosse, cheerleading, tennis, multi-sport programs, after-school programs, and Nike Kids Camps powered by i9 Sports. The program focuses on teaching the importance of good sportsmanship on the field and in life and is committed to providing age-appropriate instruction while making sports fun for kids. It is described as the nation’s largest multi-sport provider focused solely on high-quality, community-based youth sports programs, with beginner-friendly youth flag football leagues that frequently run year-round and are available nationwide.

• Ages: 3–14 years old

Nike Kids Camps powered by i9 Sports allow campers to try multiple new sports in a fun-filled atmosphere and are designed for campers ages 5–12, with age groups broken out so all kids work on age-appropriate skills. Youth soccer leagues help kids ages 3–14 discover and build a love of soccer, sportsmanship, and athletics, and youth basketball leagues allow kids ages 5–14 to learn and grow as athletes. Some locations offer additional sports such as lacrosse, cheerleading, tennis, and multi-sport programs.

Each week, one of nine sportsmanship values is integrated into practice and game play across all age groups, and a sportsmanship medal is awarded to a player who best demonstrates the weekly value. i9 Sports teaches nine sportsmanship values: Respect, Positivity, Teamwork, Humility, Enthusiasm, Determination, Integrity, Inclusion, and Leadership. The mission of i9 Sports is to help kids succeed in life through sports by providing a youth sports experience unlike any other and teaching the importance of good sportsmanship on the field and in life.

i9 Sports is proud to support the Aspen Institute’s national Project Play initiative and has been selected as a Project Play Champion for taking meaningful actions to encourage multi-sport sampling and help grow national youth sports participation rates. Parents describe the program as very well run, with good communication and measures to keep kids as safe as possible, and note that practice, game, and fun can all take place in one morning. Testimonials also mention that the program focuses on teaching good sportsmanship and respect for one another and that children have had a great time playing sports with no pressure about performance.
