PT&E’s mission is to foster lifelong well-being through play, learning, and connection. PT&E provides accessible programming for all ages, including tuition-free K–12 after-school and summer programs that include services beyond athletics, and over the course of a full year, participants receive over 1,000 hours of out-of-school-time support. One hundred percent of revenue generated through racquet programs is used to fund student and local community programs. Players of all races, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, and economic backgrounds are welcome at PT&E, and the space is designed to make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and included. PT&E partners with community leaders to advocate for an economically and socially just community where disparities are addressed and resources are equitably distributed, and it has a Safe Haven Statement describing its dedication to fostering an environment where personal safety and social connection go hand in hand.
